About Us

Picture
We are a small group of educators (teachers and administrators) who believe that our planets next generation deserves to learn more about our environment, the good, bad and the ugly and ways that they and their families can be empowered to influence their world.

We started in New York City in 2008. After a break we have re-started the project in California and completed a successful project in Sonoma County California during the Summer of 2010. We are currently speaking with schools and retailers in other San Francisco Bay Area communities about offering the project in their communities this Fall. If you have an interest in bringing the BagSpeak project to your community, please contact us at: Info@BagSpeak.org or (831) 244-0925.

Mission :
BagSpeak strives to educate K-12 students
about their natural environment and ways to preserve and sustain it, through lessons and activities linked to the Common Core standards.
At the same time, we will inspire adults to do our part to practice conservation as often as possible. BagSpeak will help support it's work through the sales of easily accessible, extremely functional and well-made reusable products.
